In ACS Publications we know that it is important that you
can share your revised published work with colleagues from the global community
of scientists. As sharing on sites known as academic collaboration networks
(SCNs) is becoming increasingly common in today's academic research ecosystem,
we would like to remind you of the many ways in which you, the author, can
evaluate valuable ACS, share your published works.
The American Chemical Society is also participating in an
extensive campaign, together with other scientific societies and academic
publishers, to promote academic sharing within online cooperation networks.
This initiative is based on a set of basic principles that scientific,
technical and medical publishers and various academic collaboration networks
will be called upon to voluntarily support. ACS has accepted these voluntary
principles, which clarify how, where and what types of content researchers can
share in a copyright-compliant way.
